World Wide CB-PSK DAY

Angeregt
durch den großen Erfolg des 1. WdoRM habe ich mich entschlossen
etwas ähnliches auch für BPSK zu veranstalten.
Dazu
möchte ich alle CB-Funkfreunde einladen sich jeweils für den 15.
und 16. Dezember 2012 jeweils ein paar Stunden Zeit zu nehmen, um an
diesen zwei Tagen auf CB-Funk qrv zu sein.
Ziel
ist es möglichst viele Station auf die Frequenz zu bekommen u.a.
auch um festzustellen, wie viel Betrieb auf einer Frequenz möglich
sein kann.
Das
Ereignis wird in zwei Teilen durchgeführt:
Am 15. 12. 2012 von 8:00 bis 12:00 UTC in PSK 31
und
Am
16.12.2012 von 14:00 bis 18:00 UTC wechselseitig in PSK31 und PSK63.
Dabei gilt, dass nach jedem QSO gewechselt wird. War das 1. QSO in
PSK31 muss das 2. QSO in PSK63 durchgeführt werden. Danach wieder
auf PSK 31 usw.
Die
Teilnehmer sollen später im Forum und/oder in meinem Blog über
ihrer Erfahrungen berichten um so auch andere zu informieren.
Die verwendete Frequenz ist 27.245 Mhz also der Kanal 25 LSB.
Im Namen vieler Funkfreunde hoffe ich auf eine rege Teilnahme.

dear CB-radio friends all over the world !
based
on the big succsess of the 1. WdoRM, I decided to create something
similar in BPSK. Therefore I´d like to invite all CB-radio-friends
to take a few hours of the 15.and 16.december 2012 and
be qrv during these 2 days on CB-radio.
The
aim is, to reach a great number of stations and to make out, how many
business will be possible on each frequency.
The event will take place on :
15.12.2012
from 8:00 to 12:00 UTC in PSK 31
15.12.2012
from 14:00 to 18:00 UTC in PSK 63
and
16.12.2012
from 14:00 to 18:00 UTC alternating in PSK31 and PSK63. You have to
change mode after each QSO.
For
example: your 1. QSO was in PSK31 ? Than the 2. QSO has to be in
PSK63, then again in PSK31 a.s.o.
The
starters should afterwards tell about their experiences during the
contest in our forum or my blog to inform all of us about the event.
The frequency in use is 27.245 Mhz/channel 25 LSB.

In Amercia, as Continet, we use 27.500MHz for PSK31 We can not use 27.245 because of interference of phone mode in AM and SSB there. Lets try both fecuencies to make real World Wide concept. I hope you take this in mind. 73 from 10AD707

is 27,500Mhz a legal frequency in the States?
Our CB Frequency range is from 26,565Mhz to 26,955Mhz (Channels 41 - 80) and from 26,965 Mhz to 27,405Mhz (Channels 1 - 40).
Channels 1 - 40 are legally usable for FM, AM with 4W and LSB and USB with 12W. Channels 41 -80 are limited to FM 4W.
We also have Special Channels distinct for Digimodes. This are the Channels 6, 7, 24, 25, 40, 52(FM only), 53(FM only), 76(FM only) and 77(FM only).

So, we have to stay within these limitations for everyone to join.
If we take 27,500 Mhz for PSK users of legal Radios can not join our little event.
We also have some interference on these channels on the beginning…
Normally, the PSK Signal will penetrate through this particular interference.
And experience tells, that the interference will less during a PSK conversation…

No problem. The legal frequencies in Canada, E.U. Mexico, Central America and South America are 26,965 to 27,405. All of us use every 11 meters for over 40 years with the knowledge of the authorities, and obviously we have not had problems in these more than 4 decades. I understand that is not the same in your area. Good luck with the PSK31 Day event and see for PSKreporter, now 11 meters, thanks to you guys. Greetings to Alexander!.
